An audio-visual experience imagined by Clément Zelter and Dust of Apollon
“r3trospective” is a unique multimedia installation combining the artistic visions of Clément Zelter (FR) and Dust of Apollon (DE). Through a retro-futuristic aesthetic, the two artists combine the rock and alternative sounds of Dust of Apollon, accompanied by the three-dimensional, interactive works of Clément Zelter. The performance explores the notion of upcycling, thanks to a matrix of screens redesigned to accompany the music with audio-reactive visuals, plunging the spectator into sensitive reminiscences of a fantasized analog world. The prism of emotion through which Dust of Apollon creates, through his voice, guitar and synthesizers, translates the raw, organic experience of electronic components that have been transformed, deconstructed and separated from their utilitarian function, the better to highlight their aesthetic importance.
